This week we are reading a nonfiction selection titled, The Albertosaurus Mystery. It highlights some of the discoveries made by paleontologists in their quest to find out about how the dinosaurs lived and died. We will be using the text details to draw conclusions and figure out ideas that the author does not state. Our target strategy is visualization. We will be encouraging the students to visualize what is happening as we read the selection. Genre: Informational Text Target Skill: Conclusions Target Strategy: Visualize |
